With a strong international presence, they are now looking for a Principal Software Engineer to drive their technical strategy and shape the future of their platform.

The Role

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the architecture, scalability, and security of mission-critical systems. You’ll mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and ensure best practices across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable software solutions.
• Guide technical strategy and mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence.
• Oversee architecture decisions across the frontend (Angular) and backend (Python, FastAPI, GraphQL) ecosystems.
• Optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j) for performance and reliability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker) and drive DevOps best practices (CI/CD with GitHub Actions).
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in modern frontend (Angular, rxjs, state management) and backend (Python, FastAPI, GraphQL) development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and observability tools (GitHub Actions, Datadog, PostHog).
• Background in healthcare, regulated industries, or security-focused applications is a plus.
• A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse teams.
