Your day-to-day:

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead and mentor our DevOps and Integration teams, ensuring alignment and a focus on shared technical and business goals.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, ensuring high-quality standards for security, performance optimization, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into scalable and effective infrastructure and data solutions.
• Define and prioritize the team’s technical roadmap, working closely with engineering leadership.
• Track and report key metrics related to engineering productivity, progress, and impact.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring proactive monitoring of system health, security, and performance, and leading your teams to swiftly address potential issues.

You'll bring: 

• 6+ years of experience in technical roles, with at least 3 years managing engineering teams, including DevOps, integration, and/or data teams.
• Proven experience in owning projects from start to finish, delivering successful outcomes.
• Expertise in AWS, cloud-based infrastructure, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and a track record of implementing DevSecOps best practices.
• Solid knowledge of system monitoring and performance management, with experience optimizing infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with our tech stack: Ruby/RoR, Grape, Python.
• Previous experience in a scale-up or SaaS environment.
• Experience with MLOps practices.
• A healthy sense of humor that can help build a positive, collaborative team atmosphere!
