Sign up for the 10 for Ben challenge

This 10k has been postponed. Due to rising covid-19 cases in Birmingham and the council enforcing limits on running groups, postponing was the right thing to do. Don't worry, this 10k WILL happen. But we want to do it in a way where everyone can get involved safely. Keep an eye on this page for the latest on our new date.

If you've landed on this page, you'll know that we sadly lost the one and only Ben Briggs to a little-known condition called a complex AVM.

The Briggs family and Th@t Recruitment Company wanted to pull something together almost as big as that personality of Ben's to raise some money for the wonderful Butterfly AVM Charity, an organisation dedicated to researching AVMs and raising more awareness to bolster early detection and treatment. So we're inviting you to take part in our 10 For Ben 10k run/walk/hop around Edgbaston reservoir on the 17th of October at 11am.

Can't make it to Birmingham for the 17th? No problem, you're more than welcome to take part remotely. Just let us know on the form below.

What? A 10k run or walk

Where? Edgbaston reservoir carpark and finishing up at the Highfield if you can join us and the Briggs family, if not then any location of your choice.

When? Saturday 17th October at 11am (we're starting the 10k at 11am sharp, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the reservoir carpark and start limbering up! We'll send you the exact location along with some other info over email)

How do I join?

We ask for a minimum donation of £10 to to take part in the 10k. Getting involved is really easy, all you need to do is head to our JustGiving page, make your donation and fill out the form below. Don't forget to attach a screenshot of your JustGiving confirmation email so we can add you to our list of runners.

As a bonus, anyone who donates more than £20 will get a Ben inspired t-shirt designed by his lovely sister, Jules.

Once that's confirmed, we'll send over some more info about the 10k and what to expect.
